I would like to welcome parents and students to the 2009-2010 school year. We offer this Agenda as part of what you pay in student fees to provide information about our policies and expectations, as well as a way for students to organize homework and assignments. We believe that the more you are informed, the better we can work together for the benefit of your children.

            Please take time to read and review the policies in the Student Agenda. There are some changes for this school year such as closed campus for grades 7-11, changes to the students bringing cars to school, and the use of cell phones and other electronic devices. There is an explanation of the locker policy. We have also added a place for parents to sign indicating they have reviewed the policies with their children.

            Students should be encouraged to use the Agenda to record homework and other assignments, as well as activities in which they are involved. There are also lessons on goal setting and other valuable tools to be used by the students.

            We invite you to be involved with your children’s school year. Please feel free to call their teachers if you have any questions or concerns. The teachers are your first and best contact all year.

           Again, we look forward to working with you to make your children’s academic year a successful one. We want students to have a positive and productive year. I wish everyone the best for the year.
